Lindsay Fendt is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in environmental reporting. Currently serving as a Senior Researcher at the Center for International Environmental Law (CIEL) since May 2023, Lindsay previously worked as an Investigative Environment Reporter for Searchlight New Mexico from April 2021 to May 2023, focusing on oil and gas and other environmental issues in the region. Prior to that, Lindsay freelanced as a reporter from January 2015 to April 2021 and held the position of Ted Scripps Fellow in Environmental Journalism at the University of Colorado Boulder from August 2017 to May 2018. Lindsay's experience also includes reporting on environmental and health topics for The Tico Times and various roles in photography and writing for local newspapers. An Elon University graduate, Lindsay holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism/Photojournalism and International Studies.
