Karina Lara has extensive experience in human resources, customer service, and leadership roles. Currently serving as a Human Resources Supervisor at the Center for Human Services since June 2016, Karina has progressed through various roles within the organization, including Human Resources Specialist and Administrative Assistant. Additionally, Karina operated a mobile notary business from March 2017 to March 2023 and worked as a Tax Associate at H&R Block. Earlier experiences include internships and positions at the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Barbara, UCSB Business and Financial Services, and the Latino Business Association, where Karina held the roles of President and Financial Director, overseeing budgets and strategic planning. Karina's career began in retail at La Nueva Imagen. Karina holds a Bachelor's Degree in Latin American and Iberian Studies from UC Santa Barbara, completed in 2015.
