Stephen Griffith is an accomplished professional in the field of operational risk and financial crime, currently serving as the Head of UK Non-Financial Risk and Operational Risk at Bank of Ireland since December 2016. Stephen has held several interim and leadership roles within the bank, including oversight positions in resilience and transformation. Additionally, Stephen contributes to the Center for Financial Professionals as a member of the NFR Leader Advisory Board and was a founding member of the Leadership Advisory Board at Airmic. Previous experience includes serving as Head of Operational Risk for RBS, where Stephen oversaw Private Banking operations in the UK and Switzerland, and as Director of Operational Risk at Coutts, managing the second line of defense for Wealth Management.
