Allan R. serves as the Group/Global MLRO & Head of AFC at Baillie Gifford since January 2022, overseeing anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing, sanctions, and anti-bribery and corruption strategies across multiple international entities. Allan R. is also a member of the Justice of the Peace Advisory Committee with the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service and has been a Justice of the Peace, presiding over non-jury criminal trials. Experience includes significant roles in financial crime and customer security at Tesco Bank and Sainsbury's Bank, as well as financial crime control at the Royal Bank of Scotland and its spinoff, Williams & Glyn. Allan R. holds multiple diplomas in Financial Crime Compliance and related fields from prestigious institutions and contributes to the FinTech Advisory Board at the Center for Financial Professionals.
