Gabriella Schimenti is a skilled professional with extensive experience in community habilitation and event coordination. Currently serving as a Community Habilitation Specialist at The Center for Family Support Inc. since December 2022, Gabriella previously held the same role at A Very Special Place, Inc. from October 2020 to November 2022. Prior to that, Gabriella worked at the Smithsonian Institution as a Special Events Assistant, supporting the coordination of museum events from November 2017 to October 2020, and served as a Membership and Development Assistant at Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. Gabriella began their career in the museum sector as a Museum Educator and History Archives Associate at Staten Island Museum, focusing on educational programs and archival research. Gabriella holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the City University of New York-College of Staten Island.
