Sam Sochet is an experienced education consultant currently working at The Center for Educational Innovation since October 2022 and serving as a staff and principal consultant at CITE since March 2021. Sam's contributions extend to serving as a board member and trustee at Syosset Public Library since November 2020. Previous roles include strategic planning business development at Rhithm, director of family and community engagement at Generation Text Online, and educational consultant at Krame Center for Mindfulness. From July 2012 to January 2020, Sam served as the high school principal at Martin Van Buren High School. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology from Syracuse University, a Master of Science in Botany and Plant Pathology from Colorado State University, and a professional diploma in Educational Leadership and Administration from Queens College, along with a Bachelor of Science from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
