Shashika Peeligama is an experienced Senior Program Manager at the Center for Court Innovation, where responsibilities include creating educational support materials for child victims navigating the justice system and leading a national resource center on domestic violence homicide prevention. Shashika has a diverse background in social work and program management, having previously coordinated programs at Karabi Community & Development Services, managed caseloads at Australian Red Cross for young people in the juvenile justice system and adult survivors of human trafficking, and implemented support services for newly arrived refugees. Shashika holds a Master's degree in International Social Development and dual Bachelor's degrees in Arts (Development Studies) and Social Work from UNSW, demonstrating a strong academic foundation in social issues and community support.
