Lauren Spink is a seasoned expert in research and advocacy specializing in civilian protection, peacekeeping, and humanitarian issues. Currently serving as Senior Research Advisor at the Center for Civilians in Conflict since July 2016, Lauren has developed innovative research methodologies across multiple regions, provided extensive support across program areas, and played a key role in staff training and capacity building. Previous roles include Senior Resettlement Officer and Resettlement Officer for the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program, and various research positions with organizations such as the International Committee of the Red Cross and Conflict Dynamics International. Lauren holds a Master's Degree in Human Security and Migration Studies from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations with a focus on Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University. Additional certification includes a Teaching English as a Second Language qualification from Oxford Seminars.
