Amanda Oran, PhD, is a Senior Scientist specializing in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) at both SK pharmteco and the Center for Breakthrough Medicines, where work focuses on developing and validating NGS assays for oncology patient specimens. Prior experience includes a role as a Genomic Development Specialist and Postdoctoral Fellow at Penn Medicine, as well as a Graduate Student at Thomas Jefferson University, where research concentrated on the c-Myc oncogene's influence on mitochondrial gene expression. Earlier, Amanda contributed as a Research Associate at SUNY Upstate Medical University. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Genetics, Genomics and Cancer Biology from Jefferson Health and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Syracuse University.
