Shon David Correa Martell, Ed.M., currently serves as an intern for the Universal Design for Learning Rising to Equity Project at CAST, contributing to the community-driven update of UDL Guidelines. Previous roles include Graduate Pipeline Coordinator at the University of California, Berkeley, and Graduate Student Researcher at Harvard Graduate School of Education, where Shon focused on Identity, Power, and Justice in Education. Experience as an Independence Facilitator at Aspire Public Schools involved teaching students with disabilities and promoting inclusive education, while a role as Bilingual Instructional Assistant at Spectrum Center Schools provided comprehensive educational support to students with various disabilities. Academic credentials include a Master of Education in Human Development and Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in African-American/Black Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
