Ashley Gurule Sauerwein, M.Ed., is a seasoned language education professional with a strong background in English language instruction and assessment. Currently serving as a Language Testing Specialist at the Center for Applied Linguistics since May 2022, Ashley previously worked as an EL Teacher in the Glendale Union High School District from August 2021 to May 2022 and as an ESL Teacher for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools from January 2018 to January 2022. Ashley holds two Master of Education degrees in Curriculum and Instruction, with a focus on TESL K-12, from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, earned between August 2020 and May 2022, and a degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from Liberty University, completed in 2019.
