Ren Bin Lee Dixon is a Policy Research Fellow at the Center for AI and Digital Policy, where responsibilities include researching and drafting AI policy statements focused on human rights and democratic values. Dixon has led a team in monitoring AI policy developments and contributed to the annual AI and Democratic Values Report. As an AI Policy Analyst with the Center for Security and Emerging Technology, Dixon engages in research initiatives and publishes policy papers on AI governance. Dixon's recent participation in AI Safety Fundamentals enhanced knowledge of AI safety and governance. Previous experience includes a Diversity Fellow role at the Institute for Social Research and Data Innovation and founding The Cat Lab, which focused on market expansion and empowering minority-owned businesses. Dixon's educational background includes a Master of Public Policy in Artificial Intelligence Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Communication from Universiti Putra Malaysia.
