Mashael A. is a seasoned data scientist currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Artefact since November 2023. Mashael has founded and held board member positions at multiple startups in sectors such as EdTech, AI/Robotics, and creative consulting since May 2015. As a Delegate and Chapter Lead for the Values20 Group since 2021, Mashael advocates for policies promoting integrity, solidarity, and the ethical use of AI in public service. Mashael's experience includes roles as a Data Scientist at SDAIA from August 2020 to October 2023, contributing to economic and social insights, and previously as an Opinion Contributor for Forbes Middle East. Mashael's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University and a Master of Science in Computing from Dublin City University, among other studies. Currently pursuing a Micromaster in Data, Economics, and Design Policy at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Mashael exemplifies a robust commitment to leveraging data science for impactful decision-making and responsible policy development.
