Barry O'Brien holds an M.Phil in International Security Studies from the University of St Andrews and an MPA in Public Policy from Dalhousie University. Currently serving as Dean of The Business School at Centennial College since July 2014, Barry is focused on teaching excellence, field placements, and accreditation. In addition to this role, Barry is acting Dean for the School of Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts, contributing to academic quality and enrollment growth. Barry's extensive experience includes teaching at York University, where Barry received multiple excellence in education awards, serving on the Board of Directors for Golf Ontario, and previous roles at the LCBO, including Marketing Director and Director of Corporate Affairs. Barry has also provided policy advisory support within the Government of Ontario, focusing on alcohol-related issues.
