Rémi Cura began their professional career in 2007 as a Student Engineer at Telecom ParisTech. Rémi then moved to the Institut Géographique National (IGN) in 2012, where they held the role of PhD Candidate and Lidar Engineer. In 2016, Rémi Cura joined the Paris School of Economics as a Post-Doctorate. In 2017, they provided Freelance Consulting Services, and in 2018 they began working as a Research Data Scientist: Postdoctoral Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 2021, Rémi Cura joined Centaur Labs as a Senior Data Scientist.
Rémi Cura began their educational journey in 2006 at Lycée Saint-Louis, where they earned a CPGE PSI* in Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering Science. In 2007, they graduated from Télécom Paris with an Engineer’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, and Management. Finally, from 2013-2016, Rémi earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Sciences et Technologies de l'Information Géographique from Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée.
