Thomas Van Wert is an experienced Energy Specialist at Cenergistic since June 2019, leading energy conservation programs at Iona University and promoting behavioral change to enhance energy savings. Prior to this role, Thomas served as an Energy Analyst and Client Service Representative at Quadlogic Controls Corp. from June 2017 to May 2019, where responsibilities included managing energy billing services for over 400 properties. Earlier experience includes a Geoinformatics Intern position at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, where data conversion projects were processed for integration into Columbia University’s GeoMapApp, and research conducted at City University of New York City College on aerosol behavior's impact on climate. Thomas also worked as a Regional Loss Prevention Specialist at Wakefern Food Corp., focusing on safety and loss prevention. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Justice and a minor in Psychology from State University of New York at Oswego, with studies at The City College of New York from 2015 to 2017.
