Filipe Fernandes possesses extensive experience in various roles related to engineering, project management, and business development. Currently serving as Business Excellence Lead at CEMEX since October 2014, Filipe also previously held the position of Construction Systems Project Management Analyst. Prior to CEMEX, Filipe worked as a Consultant at Abdel Hadi A. Al-Qahtani & Sons and as Project Manager at CERN. Filipe's career began at VMM Burgaleiras, Ltd, where responsibilities included General Director and Civil Engineer, and continued at AF, Lda in multiple capacities including Head of International Business Development and Civil Engineer Project Director. Filipe holds an International Executive MBA in General Management from the University of St. Gallen (2018-2020) and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the School of Technology and Management, Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (2000-2004).
