Marcus Händel currently serves as the Head of Investor Relations and Sustainability at Cembra Money Bank AG since September 2018. In addition, Händel has been a lecturer on Investor Relations and Business Communications at HWZ University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration Zurich since March 2011. Prior experience includes positions as Head of Investor Relations at Valiant Bank AG from January 2015 to August 2018 and independent consulting roles focused on pre-IPO Investor Relations and financial communications. Händel's extensive career at Swiss Life spanned from September 1997 to December 2010, where responsibilities included Head of Investor Relations and Head of Group Strategy. Early in the career, Händel worked as Chief Editor and Project Manager at the Institut für Versicherungswirtschaft St. Gallen from January 1993 to August 1997. Educational background includes an MBA in Business Administration, Finance, and Accounting from the University of St. Gallen and conducting studies for classical youth orchestras at Bundesakademie Trossingen.
