Nir Cohen has a diverse range of work experience spanning over three decades. Nir began their career as a Technical Officer in the Israel Defense Forces, serving in unit 8200 from 1987 to 1991. Following their military service, Nir worked as a Lab Technician at Iturit from 1992 to 1994.

In 1994, they joined Cellcom as a Field Engineer, providing technical support for telecommunications operations until 1999. During this time, they also took on additional responsibilities as a System Engineer, working on various technology domains including GSM and Microwave transmission planning, as well as leading a special task as an RF lead for AT&T's GSM R10 850Mhz deployment in the US.

In 1999, Nir moved to Ericsson and assumed the role of Senior System Engineer. Nir participated in the design and rollout of Pelephone's 3G network and later became the LTE Radio Network Designer Leader. From 2009 to 2011, they took on a special assignment as a Senior System Engineer before becoming the LTE RF Solution Manager. In this role, Nir was accountable for Pelephone's LTE network design and KPI performance, implementing Ericsson's design methodology.

Most recently, Nir joined Cellwize in 2015 as a Product Manager. Nir has proven hands-on experience in developing and delivering new SaaS products. Their responsibilities include managing the entire product line life cycle, identifying opportunities for product innovation and enhancement, and acting as a focal point for product innovation and new business opportunities.

Nir Cohen attended the Holon Institute of Technology from 1996 to 2000, where they studied Electronics and Communication. Nir obtained additional certifications, including the Certified Associate Radio Network Optimization from Ericsson in January 2014 and the Certified Associate RAN Design from Ericsson in December 2013.
