Niklas Ovesiek's work experience includes various roles and positions in different companies. Niklas currently works at cellumation GmbH as the Head of Software Engineering, a position they started in September 2022. Before that, they worked as a Product Owner | Software Development from June 2022 to September 2022, and as a Senior Software Engineer from March 2021 to June 2022 at the same company.

Prior to cellumation GmbH, they worked at SIKORA AG as an Entwicklungsingenieur from July 2016 to March 2021. Before that, they had various roles at ATLAS ELEKTRONIK GmbH, including as a Werkstudent - Sonaralgorithmenentwicklung from January 2016 to May 2016, Praktikant - Sonaralgorithmenentwicklung from September 2015 to December 2015, and Werkstudent - Vorentwicklung AUV from April 2015 to July 2015.

Furthermore, they had experience as a Studentische Hilfskraft (Tutor) at Hochschule Bremen from September 2013 to June 2014, as an Elektroniker at Masa Group in February 2014, and as a Netzmonteur at E.ON Westfalen Weser in August 2011. Niklas also worked as an Auszubildender - Elektroniker für Betriebstechnik at E.ON Westfalen Weser from August 2008 to July 2011.

Niklas Ovesiek pursued their education at HSB Hochschule Bremen – City University of Applied Sciences from 2012 to 2016. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in the field of Elektrotechnik, Eletronik und Kommunikationstechnik. In 2014, they also briefly studied Informationstechnologie at Binghamton University. Apart from their academic qualifications, they obtained a certification in Professional Scrum Product Owner I from Scrum.org in June 2023.
