Anjali Kumar is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, currently serving as Head of Business Development at Cellarity since March 2023, focusing on innovative drug discovery through systems biology and machine learning. Prior to this role, Anjali held positions at Johnson and Johnson Innovation from July 2019 to March 2023 as a partner for early-stage innovation, and previously led due diligence efforts at Shire Pharmaceuticals from May 2015 to June 2019. Anjali’s extensive background includes leadership roles in nonclinical R&D at Flexion Therapeutics, strategic R&D direction at Clinquest Inc., and pharmacology expertise at Critical Therapeutics and Wyeth Research. Academic credentials include a PhD in Chemical/Bio Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a BE in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
