Mariana Ballesteros has a diverse work experience with a focus on research and clinical support. Mariana started their career as a Field Enumerator at the U.S. Census Bureau in 2020. Mariana then worked as a Research Assistant at Creighton University from November 2020 to May 2021. Mariana then took on the role of Teaching Assistant at Omaha Public Schools from March 2021 to May 2022. In the same year, they also worked as a Local Community Engagement Coordinator at the Schlegel Center for Service and Justice from March 2021 to May 2022. Mariana further broadened their experience by joining Gallup as a Selection Analyst from August 2021 to May 2023. Mariana also served as a Clinical Support Staff at Nebraska Medicine from October 2022 to May 2023. Additionally, Mariana worked as an Intern at CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy from January 2023 to May 2023. Most recently, Mariana joined Celerion as a Clinical Research Associate in June 2023.

Mariana Ballesteros completed their education at Creighton University from 2019 to 2023, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Administration and Policy. Prior to that, they obtained a high school diploma from Kapaa High School from 2015 to 2019. In addition to their formal education, Mariana has received several certifications, including GCP (ICH Focus), Group 1: Conflict of Interest, Group 1: HSR - Advanced, Lab Chemical Safety, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens, CITI Responsible Conduct of Research Course, and Group 2: Social and Behavioral Research. These certifications were obtained from the CITI Program, with the most recent being completed in June 2023.
