Dr. Römmelt Andreas

Senior Scientist LC MS at Celerion

Dr. Römmelt Andreas began their work experience in 2010 at a pharmacy called Bienen Apotheke. From there, they worked at Klinikum Starnberg as a Pharmacist in Training, where they conducted quality control of raw substances and produced non-commercially available medication. Dr. Römmelt also taught hospital staff on the use of new drugs and application devices. In 2011, Dr. Andreas joined the Institute of Legal Medicine Zurich as a PhD Student and Forensic Toxicologist. There, they wrote toxicological reports for the prosecution, specialized in legal and illegal drug substances and biomarkers, and gave oral presentations at conferences. In 2015, they moved on to BIOTRONIK as an Analytical Chemist, where they developed HPLC and dissolution methods using quality by design approaches for FDA approval. Dr. Römmelt ensured compliance with cGMP and ICH guidelines. At their latest position, starting in 2017, Dr. Andreas became a Senior Scientist LC-MS at Celerion. Thus far, their work experience demonstrates a focus on analytical chemistry, pharmacology, toxicology, and forensic science.

Dr. Römmelt Andreas completed their education in a chronological order. Dr. Römmelt began their academic journey in 2006 at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, where they pursued a degree in Pharmazie and successfully received their Approbation in 2011. Following this, from 2011 to 2020, Dr. Andreas furthered their studies at Deutsche Gesellschaft für experimentelle und klinische Pharmakologie und Toxikologie (DGPT), specializing in Pharmakologie und Toxikologie, and at Gesellschaft für Toxikologische und Forensische Chemie, focusing on Forensische Toxikologie.
