Ginikanwa Ikewesi has four years of work experience. In 2021, they worked as a Project Manager Scrum Master at Celerant Technology, where they worked closely with the Product Owner in defining the product goal, facilitated all Scrum Events, worked to remove Impediments, and guided the team through continual improvement process and best practices. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as an Agile Coach/Scrum Master at JM Misa, where they effectively guided Scrum and Kanban teams, created working agreements, facilitated retrospectives, took ownership to drive through resolutions of issues or blockers, educated and coached the teams on usage of Jira & Confluence tools, prepared various dashboards in JIRA, helped the Product Owner with effective management of backlog, and facilitated continuous improvement initiatives and process reviews. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Scrum Master/Project Manager 1 at National General Insurance Co. PJSC, where they coached Kanban teams in developing team processes, determined Definition of Ready and Definition of Done, created working agreements, and established and maintained Work In Progress (WIP) limits. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Business Analyst at Guaranty Trust.

Ginikanwa Ikewesi obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, a Higher National Diploma in Business Administration and Management, General from the Institute of Management Technology, Enugu, Nigeria, and has taken courses in Data Analytics from Springboard. Additionally, Ginikanwa has obtained certifications from the Scrum Alliance, Project Management Institute, Scrum.org, and Splunk.
