David Heron-Maxwell has a strong background in storage and backup engineering. David has experience working with various companies in roles such as a Senior Enterprise Storage & Backup Engineer at D4t4 Solutions Plc, a Senior Storage Engineer at UKCloud Ltd, and an Infrastructure Engineer at John Lewis Partnership. David also worked as an Infrastructure Engineer (contract) at ABN AMRO Clearing Bank N.V. and as a Storage Team Manager and Senior Storage Administrator at Man Group. Prior to that, they held positions as a Storage Consultant and Technical Consultant at Hewlett-Packard, and as a Technical Consultant at Hamilton Rentals. David has also utilized various tools such as Powershell, mariadb, datatables, and chart.js to create web storage portals and collect performance metrics. David has experience in managing teams, recruitment, and objective management.

David Heron-Maxwell attended Brunel University London from 1993 to 1997, but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. In addition to their education, they have obtained several certifications including being a Certified XaaS Professional (VMXP) from Veeam Software in November 2022, a VTSP - Cloud Foundation from VMware in August 2022, a Veeam Technical Sales Professional (VMTSP) in November 2022, and a Veeam Sales Professional (VMSP) in October 2022.
