Bala Amavasai is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud data solutions. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer for Industry Innovation at Celebal Technologies, Bala focuses on developing impactful AI solutions across diverse industries. A longstanding member of IEEE, Bala holds the position of Chair for the IEEE Systems, Man & Cybernetics Society in the UK and Ireland, having also served as Vice Chair and Industry Exec. Previous roles include Global GTM Technical Director at Databricks, Head of Artificial Intelligence at Stanley Black & Decker, Senior Scientist at Procter & Gamble, and Managing Director of Medictech Ltd. Bala's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Machine Learning and a Bachelor's in Electronics Engineering from the University of Sheffield, complemented by an early career as a tutor and intern in technology-related roles.
