Sara Erkfeldt has been working in the engineering industry since 1999. Sara began their career at Volvo Group, where they held the role of Global Component Responsible. Sara then moved on to become Project Leader, Powertrain Advanced Engineering, where they were responsible for Advanced Engineering projects related to degradation of the system and Volvo's part in an FFI project. Sara then became EU Project Coordinator, where they had overall financial and technical responsibility for the project and handled all communication with the EU commission. Sara then took on the role of Industrial PhD Student, conducting research in the field of material science and specifically on aftertreatment for alternative fuels. Sara then became Project Manager for an AE project to develop and test an exhaust aftertreatment system (EATS) for reducing particulate and NOx emissions of 23 heavy duty field test trucks in the US. Sara then held the role of Development Engineer before joining Celcibus AB in 2021, where they are currently a Project Manager.
Sara Erkfeldt obtained their Master of Science - MSc in Chemical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology in 1999. Sara then went on to pursue a Licentiate degree in Materials Science and Catalysis from the same institution in 2009. Finally, in 2011, they completed their Ph.D. in Materials Science and Catalysis from Chalmers University of Technology. In addition, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2017.
