Detlef Schumann is an experienced executive in the biomedical field, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at TETEC Tissue Engineering Technologies AG since September 2020, where efforts focus on reversing company underperformance and introducing contract manufacturing services for pharma and biotech. Additionally, Schumann holds the position of Managing Director at CeGaT GmbH since April 2021, representing B. Braun. Previous roles include Vice President of Front End Innovation at BBraun Aesculap, where strategic partnerships and laboratory improvements were managed, and various positions at DSM Biomedical focusing on business development and R&D in regenerative medicine.
