Maryam Alaga is an educator currently serving as a Teacher of Computer Science and Digital Information Technology at Harris Boys' Academy East Dulwich, while training for a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) through the National Institute of Teaching. With prior experience as a Care Assistant at Care Sant¨¦ Limited and a Supply Teacher at Choice Teachers, Maryam has taught fundamental computer science concepts and demonstrated expertise in managing classroom behavior as a Cover Supervisor. Additional roles include Behaviour for Learning Leader, Digital Champion at the University of Greenwich, and Computer Science Teacher at The British Oasis Academy, where Maryam significantly contributed to student inclusion and increased school enrollment during the COVID-19 pandemic. Educational qualifications include an MA in Education, Inclusion and Social Justice from the University of Greenwich, a Bachelor of Science in Educational/Instructional Technology from the University of Ilorin, and a National Certificate in Education in Special Education and Computer Science.
