Ivonne Miranda

Ivonne Miranda, Ph.D., is an accomplished educator with extensive experience in teaching and academia. Since July 2019, Ivonne has served as an Assistant Professor at Cedar Crest College, contributing to the higher education landscape. Prior to this role, Ivonne has been a teacher in the Allentown School District since September 2008 and worked as a classroom teacher at P.S.246 from September 2002 to September 2008. Ivonne holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Elementary Education from Walden University, obtained between 2010 and 2018, along with a Master's degree in Education from the same institution. Additional qualifications include an Associate of Science in Early Childhood Education from CUNY Hostos Community College, a Bachelor of Arts in History/Education from Lehman College, and certification as a reading specialist from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
