Karen O'Connor, MBA has a diverse work experience in various senior roles in the field of Human Resources and Organizational Development. Development at DigitalThink, Inc. from 2001 to 2003, where they led the company's employee development function and spearheaded process management initiatives. Before that, they worked as a Manager, People Transition at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, LLC from 2000 to 2001, where they focused on developing and implementing people transition strategies for a business process outsourcing engagement.

Karen O'Connor, MBA, earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Business Management from Texas A&M University from 1986 to 1990. Later, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) with a focus on Strategy and International Management from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas, which they completed from 1994 to 1997. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Elevating Coaching Skills from Duke University in July 2022.
