Melissa McDonald is an experienced Speech/Language Pathologist with a diverse background in assessing, diagnosing, and treating children aged 3-21 with various speech and language-related delays and disorders. Currently working at Cecil County Public Schools since August 2011, Melissa has specialized in working with both verbal and non-verbal children, utilizing augmentative and alternative communication methods. Prior to this, Melissa served as a communication specialist for children on the autism spectrum at The Vista School and provided support for speech and language disorders in previous positions at Cecil County Public Schools and Lebanon School District. With educational qualifications including a Master's degree in Communicative Disorders and certification in Assistive Technology, Melissa is well-equipped to address the needs of children with communication challenges.
