Arturo Bujarrabal

Postdoctoral Researcher at CECAD Cologne

Arturo Bujarrabal is a Postdoctoral Researcher at CECAD Cologne since October 2022, focusing on the mechanisms of transcriptional regulation of DNA repair genes under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Previously, Arturo worked as a PhD candidate at the Cologne Cluster of Excellence in Cellular Stress Responses in Aging-associated Diseases from January 2015 to September 2022, where research involved C. elegans to explore transcriptional regulation of DNA repair pathways. Artur's early career included roles such as a predoctoral scholarship at CNIC, involving laboratory practices and the development of a master's thesis, along with various teaching and collaboration positions at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Arturo holds a BSc in Biology and an MSc in Molecular Biomedicine from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, completed in 2014.
