Sathiya Nathan has a diverse work experience starting from their time as an Undergraduate Assistant at PITS, where they taught Engineering Graphics to first-year students. Sathiya then worked as a CAD Intern at Spike Aerospace, Inc., where they gained knowledge in aircraft design and presented new techniques to the CAD design team. Sathiya later joined CDS Visual, a Dover company, as a CAD Engineer, where they worked on parametric design and created complex designs for mechanical and aerospace parts. Sathiya eventually became a Lead CAD Engineer at the same company and collaborated with their team to ensure project requirements were met. Currently, they serve as the Engineering Manager at CDS Visual, where they oversee a team of 30+ people and is involved in hiring and training new employees, as well as developing work order quotes.

Sathiya Nathan completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Aeronautical Engineering at Parisutham Institute of Technology and Science from 2011 to 2015. Following that, Sathiya Nathan pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Aerospace Engineering at California State University, Long Beach from 2015 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Sathiya Nathan also obtained several certifications. In September 2013, they received certifications in ANSYS 14.5, CATIA V5, GD&T, NX Unigraphics, PTC Creo, and AutoCAD 2D from CADD Centre Training Services Pvt Ltd. Furthermore, in May 2017, they obtained a Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from 6sigmastudy.
