Byron Reed serves as the Senior Vice President of Community & Local Government Relations at CIT Bank since September 2017, with an extensive background in community development and corporate responsibility across various institutions. Previously, Reed held senior leadership positions at Wells Fargo, Bank of America, and JPMorgan Chase & Co., focusing on community relations, strategic partnerships, and compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA). Notably, Reed managed the National Community Partnerships Office at JPMorgan Chase, leading to the bank's first ā€œOutstandingā€ OCC CRA examination rating for the heritage Bank One franchise. A graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government, Reed possesses a strong commitment to enhancing community development and revitalization through effective banking practices and corporate philanthropy.
