Rachel Gittinger, MPH, currently serves as an ORISE Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, focusing on the 'Vaccination of Mobile Populations in Mexico' project. With extensive experience in program management and evaluation, Rachel previously managed the $40 million DC CARES program at the Central American Resource Center, providing COVID-19 relief to underserved residents. Rachel's earlier roles include directing a successful naturalization program that achieved a 98% client approval rate, and working as a bilingual specialist addressing human trafficking at the Polaris Project. Rachel holds a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University and a Nonprofit Management Executive Certificate from Georgetown University, complemented by a BA in Spanish and Global Studies from the University of Kansas.
