Lynnann Yazzie currently serves as the Deputy Associate Superintendent for the Office of Indian Education at the Arizona Department of Education since June 2022. Previously, Lynnann held the position of District Specialist for the Native American Education Program at Phoenix Union High School District from September 2019 to June 2022. Lynnann's teaching experience includes roles as a Math/Computer Science/Robotics Teacher at Salt River High School from October 2017 to September 2019 and as a Math Teacher at both Salt River High School from August 2010 to March 2014 and Maricopa High School from July 2009 to May 2010. Additionally, Lynnann worked as a Project Coordinator at UNITY - United National Indian Tribal Youth Inc. from March 2014 to September 2017. Lynnann Yazzie holds a Master of Education in Secondary Education - Mathematics from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies in Mathematics and Education from the same institution.
