Debra Lubar

Director, Office of Policy, Performance, & Evaluation at CDC

Debra Lubar currently serves as the Director of the Office of Policy, Performance and Evaluation at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, a position held since July 2007, where responsibilities include leading strategic planning and regulatory formulation for the agency. Previous roles at the CDC include Deputy Director for Management & Operations, Director of the Office of Appropriations, Associate Division Director, and Branch Chief. Prior to rejoining the CDC, Debra Lubar worked as a Senior Manager at BearingPoint and held the position of Chief Policy Adviser at the Delaware Department of Health and Social Services. Debra Lubar also worked as a Project Director at Georgetown University. Educational credentials include a PhD in Social Work from the University of Georgia, an MSW from Boston University, and a BS in Social Work from Cornell University.
