Herman van de Bijl has extensive experience in the ICT sector, currently serving as a Systeembeheer professional at YourICT since April 2006, specializing in designing, building, securing, and managing ICT environments for small to medium-sized enterprises. Additionally, Herman holds the position of Burgerraadslid for CDA Neder-Betuwe since April 2018 and is a member of the program committee for the CDA Neder-Betuwe, contributing to the 2018 municipal elections. Previous involvement includes being a member of the initiative Mkbglasvezelnederbetuwe.nl from October 2013 to December 2015, aimed at providing fiber optic connections in the municipality, and working as an Accountmanager at Vertex automatisering from January 2004 to February 2005.
