Puvan J Selvanathan is a highly experienced professional currently serving as a Policy Advisor for Volt Europa and a Specialist at the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe. In addition to roles at BSI as a Technical Committee Member and as an Official Member of the Forbes Nonprofit Council, Puvan is the President and Founder of Bluenumber, a global platform focused on digital identity and personal data rights. Prior experience includes serving as an Advisory Board Member for CCRcorp, President of the UN Global Compact Network Malaysia & Brunei, and Head of the ITC Office to the United Nations. Puvan's significant contributions to human rights and corporate sustainability are underscored by work with the United Nations as an Independent Expert and Head of Food and Agriculture. Puvan holds multiple advanced degrees, including a PhD in Data and Human Rights from the University of Malaya.
