Waurick Cloete has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Waurick started their career at Edgars Stores as a Department Manager from 2003 to 2006. Waurick then worked as a Customer Services Team Leader at Fusion Outsourcing Services from 2006 to 2008. Following that, they joined iiNet, where they served as a Customer Service Manager from 2008 to 2010, then as a Senior Customer Service Manager from 2010 to 2013, and finally as a Call Centre Manager from 2013 to 2016. In 2016, they briefly worked as an Acting Training Manager at Merchants before joining Webhelp as an Operations Manager for easyJet from April to December 2016. Currently, they are associated with CCI South Africa, where they have held various roles, including Learning and Development Manager - Human Capital from 2017 to 2018, Operations Manager from 2018 to 2020, Senior Operations Manager from 2020 to 2022, and currently as the Head Of Operations.

Waurick Cloete attended various educational programs throughout their career. In 1994, they completed their Matric at Vredendal Secondary School. In 1999, they pursued an Executive Computer Management Diploma at Computer Career Training College. In 2012, they undertook a Diploma in Client Relationship at the Institute of Business Management. Finally, in 2015, they participated in the Management Development Program at Stellenbosch Business School.
