Robert Muriithi has a strong background in risk management and compliance. Robert is currently working as the Head of Risk & Compliance at CCI Kenya, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Digital Governance & Compliance Lead at Equity Bank Limited from 2021 to 2023. In this role, they implemented IT and Operational Governance requirements for Equity Group's banking subsidiaries in multiple countries. Robert also maintained compliance to various standards and frameworks across the group. Before joining Equity Bank Limited, Robert was an Information Technology Audit Manager at KPMG East Africa from 2021 to 2021. Robert also served as the ICT Compliance Manager at The Co-operative Bank of Kenya from 2016 to 2021. Robert'searlier experience includes working as a Senior IT Auditor and Senior IT Associate at EY from 2008 to 2016.

Robert Muriithi completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from Kenyatta University between 2003 and 2008. Prior to that, they attended Njiiri High School from 1998 to 2001 and obtained their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education. In addition to their education, Robert has obtained various certifications including AWS Security, Identity & Compliance, Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner, Cloud Audit Academy - Cloud Agnostic, ISO 20000 Lead Auditor - IT Service Certification, ISO 22301:2019 Lead Implementer, ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Lead Auditor, CCNA, and CISA.
