John (Jianhong) Xu is a Senior Analyst and Manager of Geoscience System at C&C Reservoirs, where responsibilities include designing, maintaining, and quality controlling the Digital Analogues Database. Additionally, John oversees the daily operations of the London office, handling human resources and office management alongside technical duties. Previously, John served as Senior Vice President of Product Development at C&C Reservoirs (Asia-Pacific), collaborating with the Chief Engineer on the REPAX module and managing the Beijing office. John also held a lecturer position at Peking University, teaching courses in Sedimentary Facies and Environment and Computer Applications in Geomorphology. John earned a Ph.D. in Sedimentology from the University of Reading and holds a Master's and Bachelor's Degree in Geography from Peking University.
