Jason Broome began their work experience in 1994 at Lowe's Home Improvement, where they served as a Helpdesk Team Lead until 2000. Jason then worked at Hillenbrand Inc. as a Sr. Support Administrator from 2000 to 2001. Following this, they joined Paragon - IBM as a Sr. AIX Administrator from 2001 to 2002. Jason then worked at Duke University Medical Center as a Storage Solutions Architect from 2002 to 2004. Jason further gained experience at Rex Healthcare as a Storage Architect from 2004 to 2005. From 2005 to 2012, they worked at Mainline Information Systems, where they served as a Manager Storage Services and later as the Director Of Services. From 2013 to 2017, they worked at Mainline Information Systems as an Enterprise Architect. Jason then worked at PCM: The Right Technology, Delivered. as a Transformation Architect (Field CTO) from 2018 to 2019. Currently, they are working at CBTS as a Cloud principal, starting from March 2019.

Jason Broome attended Gardner-Webb University, where they studied Business Administration and Management, specifically in the field of General Business. Jason did not obtain a specific degree from the university. In terms of additional certifications, Jason obtained the following:

- In July 2016, they became an AWS Technical Professional through Amazon.

- In June 2021, they became Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals through Microsoft.

- In August 2021, they earned a certification in Microsoft Office 365 from Microsoft.

- Lastly, in April 2023, they obtained the certification of being an Aws database modernization ambassador from Amazon.
