Katie Strickland is a seasoned Motion Graphic Designer currently working at KCNC | CBS News Colorado since April 2018. With a diverse background in graphic design, Katie has served as a Freelance Graphic Designer for On-Track Media Solutions since January 2015, producing original logo designs, print materials, and signage for various clients. Previously, Katie contributed as a Freelance Graphic Designer for the Colorado Association of Transit Agencies, creating artwork for their 2017 Spring Conference. Before that, extensive experience was gained at KMGH-TV from September 2001 to December 2014 as a Graphic Artist, and as a Graphic Designer & Motion Artist at LIN Television - KXAN-TV from 1994 to 2001, where Katie led multiple graphic rebrands. The career also includes an Assistant Art Director role at WCJB-TV and a short freelance stint at FOX5 WAGA. Educationally, Katie holds a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Florida.
