Tim Grattan is a seasoned sports and news producer with extensive experience in local television and radio. Currently serving as a Sports Producer at CBS 42 since November 2021, Tim is responsible for producing local sports content for the Birmingham-Anniston-Tuscaloosa TV market, including various sports shows. Previous roles include Senior News Producer at CBS 42 and News Producer at WDBJ7, where Tim focused on weekend morning newscasts for the southwest Virginia region. Tim's background also encompasses work as a Sports Anchor/Producer/Writer at Audacy, Inc., and a Sportswriter for The Chronicle-Telegram, covering high school sports and local teams. Tim holds a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Ohio Media School and has a unique combination of skills, ranging from producing and reporting to official scoring in baseball.
