Sam Holland has a diverse work experience in various compliance and financial roles. Currently, Sam is working as a Senior Compliance Associate & Deputy MLRO at CBRE Investment Management, where they are responsible for implementing financial crime and regulatory frameworks. They are also a member of the EMEA ESG and Sustainability committee. Prior to that, Sam worked as a Senior Associate Consultant at Optima Partners Compliance Advisory and as a Compliance Manager EMEA & LatAm at Neuberger Berman. They have also held positions at Lansdowne Partners, Waverton Investment Management, NatWest Group, and the House of Commons, where they gained valuable experience in fraud analysis, operations, and parliamentary work.
Sam Holland has a Diploma in Investment Compliance from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI). They also obtained an Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI). In terms of formal education, Sam attended Palmer's Sixth Form College in Grays, Essex from 2009 to 2011 where they completed A Levels in Geography, History, and English Language. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2009, they attended Brittons School in Rainham, Essex and obtained 10 GCSEs, including English Language and Maths. Sam also holds additional certifications such as a Diploma in Investment Compliance and an Investment Operations Certificate from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).
