Jussi Niemistö has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jussi currently works at CBRE Finland as the Head of Research, Nordics. In this role, they lead all research activities and strives to make CBRE the most client-centric real estate research and advisory player in the Nordics. Prior to joining CBRE, Jussi worked as an Investor at FÖÖNI and as an Entrepreneur at Juicy Labs Oy, where they focused on business ventures, side hustles, and consulting. Before that, they held several positions at Taaleri, including Head of Analytics and Data Science, Consultant and Partner, and Private Banker and Partner. At Taaleri, they established a risk management and middle office function, created market risk procedures, managed market data, and provided wealth management sales and portfolio analysis. Jussi also gained experience as a Financial Analyst at Swedbank, a Treasury Analyst at Oriola-KD Corporation, and as a Summer Trainee at Pohjola Bank Plc and Pohjola.

Jussi Niemistö has a strong education background with a focus on finance, economics, and real estate. In 2001, they attended Alavus High School for three years, although the degree obtained is unspecified. Following this, from 2006 to 2011, Jussi studied at the University of Vaasa, where they earned a Master of Science in Economics, with a concentration in finance, accounting, and economics.

In 2009, they participated in a student exchange program at Macquarie University, specializing in applied finance and economics. Continuing their education, Jussi pursued a Certified European Financial Analyst (CEFA) qualification at Hanken School of Economics in 2016-2017. Jussi also obtained the CEFA certification from EFFAS - The European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies in October 2016.

In 2022, Jussi briefly attended the University of Cambridge for Sustainable Real Estate studies, although no degree was specified. Additionally, they have earned several certifications throughout their career. In July 2018, they completed an Introduction to Data Analysis course at Codecademy, and in February 2022, they obtained a certification in "Advice for Leaders during a Crisis" from LinkedIn.
