Shawn Cole is a seasoned audio professional with over two decades of experience in various aspects of audio engineering, production, and design. Currently serving as the Senior Operations Manager at CBC/Radio-Canada, Shawn has held prominent roles such as Head of Audio Design & Production at Pacific Content and Co-Owner of Fader Master Sound Studios Inc. Previous experience includes instructing at Nimbus School of Recording Arts and Pacific Audio Visual Institute, where Shawn shaped the next generation of audio engineers. Additionally, Shawn has contributed to community music education initiatives through a leadership role at Access to Music Foundation. Armed with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Mount Allison University and an Audio Engineering Diploma from The Trebas Institute, Shawn has a strong academic foundation to complement extensive practical expertise in sound design, music production, and audio consulting.
