Kate Brinkert is a Design Engineer at Caztek Engineering since June 2023, following a role as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Minnesota, where Kate conducted honors thesis research on cylindrical soft robots. Previous experience includes a Mechanical Engineering Internship at Kablooe Design, focusing on multidisciplinary product development for medical devices, and serving as Prototyping Project Lead at DesignU, where project oversight involved designing packaging for a kombucha hard seltzer. Kate's career began in the service industry at Love Creamery, and educationally, Kate holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Product Design from the University of Minnesota, completed in 2023.
